 | Sacha Baron Cohen in MIB 3?According to Bloody-Disgusting.com, actor Sacha Baron Cohen was approached by Columbia Pictures to play the role of Yaz in the third Men In Black movie. Jermaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) is also in the running for the role in case the Borat and Brüno star turns down the part. Will Smith will reprise his role as agent J in this third instalment. However, reports say Tommy Lee Jones will not be coming back as agent K. Actor Josh Brolin is pegged to take over Tommy Lee Jones' role. The script calls for Smith's character to go back in time to team up with a younger agent K. Director Barry Sonnenfeld will take his third turn behind the camera. Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder) is writing the script. Shooting should get underway by the end of the year so look for a spring 2011 release. Meanwhile, Sacha Baron Cohen has lots of other projects on the table that are already in the development stage. There is an unnamed comedy on Sherlock Holmes with Cohen playing Holmes and Will Ferrell playing Watson. |
